Started in 2019 by Nina and Rob Renner, Rocky’s Place has steadily become a hallmark of Eastern Tennessee (and beyond).

"Ice cream’s been bringing smiles for centuries. In fact, 1671 is the year the term “ice cream” first showed up in an English newspaper. Back then it was a rare treat, served to kings and queens at royal feasts. Over time, though, ice cream made its way from fancy tables to front porches and hometown shops just like ours. What started as something special for a few has become a sweet tradition for everyone — and we’re proud to keep that tradition alive right here in Tennessee."
